Mount Kanchanjunga Expedition is very famous because Mount Kanchanjunga (8,586m / 28,170ft) is the third highest mountain peak in the world. Mt. Kanchanjunga is located at the Sikkim (India)-Nepal border as part of the Himalayan mountain range at longitude 27 & 42' North and 08' east. (From 1838 until 1849), it was believed to be the highest. It is a massive mountain mass, and many satellite peaks rise from its narrow icy ridges. It is the most easterly of the great 8,000 meter peaks of the Himalaya. In keeping with its name five treasure houses of the great snows, the Kanchanjunga Mountain is a grand collection of shapely spires. It is unique in as much as it is structure north and south as well as east and west by mountains of equal stature. This multi-topped massif comprises of four summits. Each one measuring over eight thousand meter called Kanchanjunga Main (8,586m.), Kanchanjunga (South 8,476m.,) Kanchanjunga (8,476m.) West face Summit and Yalung-Kang (8,505m).Our expedition will be climbing Kanchanjunga from the Nepal side of the mountain.
Climbing Route: Mount Kanchanjunga has four different climbing routes to the mountain peak with its both south and east side providing opportunities for new routes. It is believed that the east flank of the South Summit is by far the most difficult face route. Our trip starts from Taplejung to Base Camp through Dandagaon and Mitlung. And our trail back via another trekking route Selele, Milgin-La 4654m,Tseram (3770m). At the end in Taplejung then we fly back to Kathmandu. we have also decades of experience in the field of mountaineering, organizing many expeditions and climbing in Nepal almost all the high, low Himalayan summit. so we invite you to join for Mt. Day 06: Trek to Tharpu/Panchami. Overnight in Camp
Day 07: Trek to Doban. Overnight in Camp
Day 08: Trek to Khewang. Overnight in Camp
Day 09: Trek to Yamphudin Bhote Gaun. Overnight in Camp
Day 10: Trek to Torontang forest camp. Overnight in Camp
Day 11: Trek to Tseram. Overnight in Camp
Day 12: Trek to Ramje. Overnight in Camp
Day 13: Rest day at Ramje for proper acclimatization. Overnight in Camp
Day 14: Trek to (Moraine) glacier camp. Overnight in Camp
Day 15: Trek to Kuna Camp. Overnight in camp
Day 16: Trek to Kanchanjunga Base Camp. Overnight in camp Day 17-20: Leisure day at Base camp for proper acclimatization, blessing ceremony & climbing preparation.
Day 21-55: Mt. Kanchanjunga climbing period.
Day 56: Return trek to Ramje. Overnight in Camp
Day 57: Trek down to Torontang forest camp. Overnight in Camp
Day 58: Trek to Yamphudin Bhote Gaun. Overnight in Camp
Day 59: Trek to Khewang. Overnight in Camp
Day 60: Trek to Panchami. Overnight in Camp
Day 61: Trek to Tharpu. Overnight in Camp
Day 62: Drive from Tharpu to Bhadrapur.
Day 63: Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 64: Final Departure.
